"In this home may love abide, and bless all those who step inside." This saying is beautifully printed above the breakfast nook of a home restored by Steve and Corrine Melberg in Powers Lake. It truly embodies the very ambiance the couple has set out to achieve for its guests.
Going on three years they have been busy gutting, restoring, and updating one of Powers Lake’s oldest homes located one block east of the Senior Citizens, 211 Ullund Street.

Summer temperatures have finally arrived
|

As temperatures were in the 80’s this past week, the Mohall swimming pool was a popular place to be.
The baby pool is now open for the little tikes to splash around and get cool on a hot summer day.
If you have driven by and seen that the high dive board has been taken down, it is because a slide is in the works to be installed next summer.
