It is hard to imagine that the holiday seasons are already upon us. This past Saturday, Mohall kicked off their holiday season with the annual Craft Show. In visiting with some of the vendors, they all had great success and overall were pleased with the show this year. The turnout was great, the vendor selection was well received by those attending. So thank you to everyone who had a part in this year’s Craft Show.

On Sunday the MLS FCCLA held their annual “Christmas Is For Kids” charity dinner. Again, the community support was amazing and the FCCLA students do an amazing job with it. The students have the system down pat and things go like clock work. You walk in, get seated, and within minutes someone is there with your plate of food. Then they are back around checking to see if you need anything and if you are done they take your plate and bring you your dessert. They serve a lot of people in just an hour and do it well. Plus, the food is great. There are a lot of people behind the scenes doing the cooking, cutting the ham, and dishing up the plates. So kudos to everyone for another successful “Christmas Is For Kids” charity dinner and thanks for the work that you do to brighten the holidays for people who can use the help.

Thursday is Thanksgiving and many of you will either be traveling to someone’s house or hosting family and friends. Wherever you are, may you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. Take the time to be thankful for what you have and for the family and friends that you are with and for all that God has provided for you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hopefully you will all be back in Mohall on Friday for all the events - Santa Claus at Citizens State Bank; Parade of Lights, Business Social, and Business Festival of Trees. It is always a fun filled night.

Happy anniversary on November 27th to cousin, Wade and Bonnie Locken of Mohall - Love you both! Also, Happy Thanksgiving to all my extended family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
