If the weather on Wednesday and Thursday is any indication of what it is going to be like this summer -- get ready for a hot one!

We certainly have had some really nice days -- and that includes the warmer temperatures and no or very little wind. On Wednesday the temperature was up to 87 degrees by 3:30 p.m. Then on Thursday when I came to work at 9:00 a.m. it was already 71 degrees, it rose to 80 by 10:30 a.m., was 91 at 3:30 p.m., and by the time Deb and I left the office at 4:45 p.m. it was at 97 degrees. Those are definitely summer temperatures and not spring temperatures -- but they were nice to enjoy.

I took advantage of all those nice days and just shut my heater off at home and opened up the living room picture window before I went to work all those days, and I had it opened again on the weekend. Nice to let the fresh air in and get rid of that stale air that we keep bundled up in our houses during the winter.

Nice weather has even gotten the farmers out in the field. Letís hope they have a good year. Remember to stay safe.
