Della Robey

































August 29, 1939 to January 17, 2016

Della E. Robey, 76, Grandview, MO, passed away January 17, 2016.

Her funeral service was held Saturday, January 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Longview Funeral Home.

Interment followed at Longview Cemetery.

Della was born August 29, 1939 in Lansford, ND to Theodore and Ada Mae Larson. She was a member of Grandview United Methodist Church.

She is survived by son, Curtis (Sherri) Robey; daughters, Connie (Rick) Vold, Cinda Sullivan, and Cheryl
(Ron) Metzger; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her dog, Cuddles.

Della was preceded in death by her husband, George Robey; her parents; and her son, Craig S. Robey.


Marlin Palmer



























November 3, 1936 to January 19, 2016

Marlin Jay Palmer, 79, Glenburn, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at a Minot hospital.

His funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn.

Burial took place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, rural Minot.

Officiating at the service was Reverend Martha HarriSon.

Soloist was Nancy Rolland, and organist was Karla Martin.

Casketbearers were Matt and Guy Grigsby, David Lawson, Mitch Preskey, Dustin Erickson, and Clarke Stevens.

Marlin was born November 3, 1936, in Minot, a son of Earl and Mildred (Hettinger) Palmer. He was raised in Glenburn and graduated from Glenburn High School. He attended college at Minot State University.

He married Annette Marguerite Anderson on January 25, 1959, in Minot. They resided in Glenburn and Minot. In 1961, they moved to Leeís Summit, MO, where Marlin worked for Western Electric. They returned to Glenburn in 1970 where he farmed in Renville and Ward Counties. They spent several winters in Arizona. Annette died May 26, 2000.

Marlin was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn, the Lions Club, and a Glenburn sports booster. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and bowling.

He is survived by his children, Randy (Christine) Palmer, Glenburn, Kristy (Gary) Spinner, Phoenix, AZ, and Jeffrey Palmer, Mesa, AZ; ten grandchildren; brothers, Darrel Palmer, Fargo, and Rodney Palmer, Mandan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marlin was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Palmer; wife, Annette; brother, Ronald Palmer; and twin-sister, Marlene Stueve.

The Reverend Raymond A. Aydt passed away on January 5, 2016, at St. Vincentís Continuing Care Center, Bismarck, at the age of 94.

Caroline Brend, 99, Mohall, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at a Mohall nursing home.

Rita J. Noeske, 78, of Port Angeles, Washington, formerly of Mohall, North Dakota, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 21, 2015 surrounded by her family at home.
