Earning the right to golf in the meet from MLS were Callie Carlson and Skylar Aberle. They are coached by Cody Beck. Callie Carlson, who just completed her sophomore year, finished the two day event with a score of 169 which earned her the 3rd place individual plaque. She had an 89 after the first day, and finished the meet on Wednesday, with an 80. Teammate, Skylar Aberle, a junior, finished the meet with a 204, for 46th overall. Her score after play on Tuesday was a 103, and then on Wednesday she finished with a 101. State Class B Medalist was Laura Podolak of Kindred with a 161. The girls from Kindred also won the team event, as they finished the meet with a two day score of 357. Shania Brackenbury and Emily Abernathey named to the All Region Fastpitch team Shania Brackenbury, left, and Emily Abernathey, right, were named to the North All-Region Team following the conclusion of the Regional Tournament. Shania plays shortstop and Emily Abernathey is a pitcher and first baseman for KBMLS. The girls are coached by Jesse Radzwill.
